There are conspiracy theories about nearly every topic these days. We live in an age when people read no further than the headlines and get most of their “news” from meme’s. Propaganda is everywhere, so how do you know what’s true? This is where diligent research comes in.

In Zen, there is a saying, “do not seek truth; only cease to cherish opinions.” How is this relevant to fighting back in this Information War? Many of us hold onto opinions we believe to be true, but are they really? When your desire for abject truth is more than your desire to be “right,” you will find the truth. In other words, when doing research don’t look to prove yourself right, look to prove yourself wrong. Don’t start with a conclusion in mind and work backwards. Start with a premise and allow the evidence to be what it is, even if this disproves an opinion you’ve been holding on to.
In science, when a theory is put forth it is the duty of other scientists to test it, discredit it, and prove it wrong. If they’re unable to prove it wrong, the theory remains. If they are able to prove it wrong, the theory is no longer a valid explanation of a thing. It’s not personal, it’s just science. So too must our research be for our own opinions and beliefs.
We’re in the middle of an Information War. In order to win this war being waged upon We The People we must stand together, act together, and speak together as one unified whole. Our stand needs to be grounded in reality and the unadulterated objective truth. Facts are not open for interpretation; they are what they are.
We can do this, together. We CAN make a difference and take back our country to bring sanity back to our Republic.
